Grass-fed Beef Logistics: Transport, Processing, Distribution

Running a successful grass-fed production process is only possible and sustainable on the long-term when appropriate and efficient logistics are in place. In this webinar, Rod Ofte of Willow Creek Ranch and the Wisconsin Meadows Grass Fed Beef Cooperative and Mike Lorentz of Lorentz Meats will share decades of experience moving cattle from pasture to processing to the plate.

Focus will be placed on how to sync your business plan, on-farm infrastructure, and production schedules to optimize the benefits of the livestock on the land with positive and predictable cash flow. The webinar will also focus on the options for slaughter (on-farm, state plants, federal plants) and how to choose the processing option that will help—not hurt—your operation.

This webinar was recorded August 5th, 2018.
