Establishing Optimal Forage Chains for Livestock Grazing

Ensuring access to sufficient, high-quality forage is critical for optimizing the health and productivity of livestock in a rotational grazing operation. In this webinar, Kent Solberg, Grazing and Livestock Specialist with the Sustainable Farming Association, will share how beginning and established graziers can incorporate diverse annual, perennial, and stored forage options into their grazing plans throughout the year. This will include information on the types of forage, annual forage cycles, optimal herd rotations, common challenges, and creative solutions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the use of adaptive management principles.

Presenter: Kent Solberg (Sustainable Farming Association)
