Come join us for a field day to explore pathways to saving money and becoming more profitable by using grazing on your dairy. From grazing heifers or dry cows to full grazing systems, we’ll learn from other dairy farmers and from technical experts about ways to try out grazing without betting the whole farm. We’ll also learn about on-farm processing and direct marketing options.
This event is hosted by Lambarth Farms / Annie G’s Dairy. Kat and Dave Mageean started Annie G’s Dairy to address a clear gap in the current dairy system — creating a model that helps small farmers stay in business, thrive, and reconnect with their communities.
The event will be held Tuesday, July 21 from 10 am – 2 pm (lunch included!) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Both the event and lunch are free. Participation is limited to 100 persons and pre-registration is required by July 7. Classroom and in-field training activities, so please dress for the weather.
