All of the Dakotas and Minnesota, and parts of Wisconsin and Iowa, are in moderate to extreme drought. Many cattle producers in these areas are facing acute forage shortages. One potential strategy is to send cattle away to graze in other states where forage is abundant. The new Midwest Grazing Exchange was established to facilitate just this kind of movement of livestock to available grazing: connecting graziers and landowners in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. Join a webinar to learn about the Midwest Grazing Exchange: how to use it, how to enter into contract grazing, and where to find additional help with making grazing connections
