Strauss

Free Raised® Grassfed Beef. The program claims to be 100% grassfed & finished on open pasture without the use of antibiotics or added growth hormones. US born cattle, raised on US family farms. Below is a link to production protocols from the Strauss website:

Wisconsin Grassfed Beef Cooperative

Wisconsin Meadows® Grassfed Beef. A farmer owned cooperative of approximately 130 members. The program claims to be 100% grassfed & finished and that cattle are “born and raised” in Wisconsin. Pastures are GMO, pesticide and herbicide free. Cattle are never fed grain, corn or animal by-products. No antibiotics or growth hormones are allowed. Thousand Hills Cattle Company™

The program claims to be 100% grassfed & finished on pasture that is holistically managed. Cattle are sourced for small, independent family farms. Cattle are raised on non-GMO grass and forage diets. Below is a link to production protocols from the Thousand Hill’s website:

Joyce Farms

The program claims to be 100% grassfed in a “Nothing Added-Ever” protocol; no antibiotics, no hormones, no growth stimulators, no animal by-products and no pesticides. Animals are raised humanely, in low stress environments are free range or free roaming. Below is a link to production standards from the Joyce Farms website:

Grass Run Farms

The program claims to be a natural, forage based diet their entire lives and that antibiotics, hormones or growth promotors are never used. A protocol of feeding standard was not available at the website; however you can view at the link below for more information:

Seven Sons Farms

The program claims to be 100% grassfed from pasture and stored grasses. No grain, hormone, steroids or sub-therapeutic antibiotics are used. Below is a link to production standards from the Seven Son’s website:

Rain Crow Ranch

The program claims to be 100% grassfed and rotationally grazed. Rain Crow Ranch is certified by the American Grassfed Association and the Global Animal Partnership at Step Four. No specific production standard or protocol was found at their website however the link below gives more information about the certification standards:
